Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, fiduciaries, and partnerships.
  • Perform in-depth technical research on intricate tax matters to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
  • Oversee the preparation and review process of complex tax returns, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
  • Develop tax projections and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Engage with clients to clarify tax information and address any inquiries.
  • Support the review of financial statement compilations as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions.
  • Work alongside partners and staff on client management and business development efforts.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff to enhance their professional skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Active CPA Certification.
  • Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus.
  • 15+ years of recent public accounting experience.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills in tax accounting.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and tax software (knowledge of Lacerte Tax software is advantageous).
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills.
