We are looking for a skilled Operations Support Specialist to enhance our team at Encon Heating & AC. This role encompasses a range of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, staging, and handling materials. The position also requires loading and unloading tasks, as well as managing deliveries and pick-ups while ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate should thrive in a dynamic environment, work collaboratively with various production teams, and be prepared to perform some duties outdoors in varying weather conditions. Experience in fleet management and logistics is advantageous.

Compensation: $26-$28/hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with multiple production teams to facilitate seamless warehouse operations.
  • Communicate effectively throughout the shipping process by tracking and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Handle incoming shipments accurately, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Stage materials safely and prepare items for delivery or storage.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring careful handling and accurate inventory.
  • Conduct timely deliveries and pick-ups, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain precise inventory records, including stock counts and tracking.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including restocking supplies.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • Delegate responsibilities while collaborating and taking initiative on tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in supervising staff.
  • Physical ability to bend, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy items.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Quick problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior warehouse experience with knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional time management and problem-solving capabilities.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Employment and education verification will be conducted.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Encon maintains a drug-free workplace and requires pre-employment drug testing.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights.

Compensation Package: $26-$28/hr plus discretionary quarterly bonuses and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401K matching, and discounted gym memberships.
