We specialize in manufacturing aftermarket catalytic converters that meet CARB standards and are recognized as the leading manufacturer of catalytic converter protection devices in the country. Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a passionate and talented Automotive Product Design Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in developing innovative new products for the automotive aftermarket, particularly focusing on off-roading accessories and catalytic converter protection.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the design of cutting-edge products such as skid plates and catalytic converter shields.
  • Utilize 3D scanning technology and Solidworks software to create detailed prototypes of new designs.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to meticulously catalog all necessary parts for each new product.
  • Assist in the development of comprehensive installation guides for our products.
  • Provide expert consultation on the selection of appropriate metals (material and gauge) for optimal performance and durability.
  • Refine and improve existing products through redesign and editing processes.
  • Maintain a well-organized database of all product files and design documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of CAD software, particularly Solidworks.
  • Proven experience in new product development within the automotive industry.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D scanners and their applications in design.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software programs and technologies.
  • A creative and resourceful mindset, coupled with a passion for automobiles and innovative product development.
  • A solid understanding of heat transfer principles and aerodynamic concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration within the team.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team to achieve shared goals.
Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a closely related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in product design, preferably within the automotive sector.
