Maintenance Inventory Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Inventory Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in coordinating inventory efforts to maximize efficiency in the department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking and reporting on inventory levels, and ensuring that all inventory-related tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to ensure that inventory efforts are aligned with departmental goals and objectives
  • Perform cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve inventory management processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Direct knowledge of procurement to point of use in manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS software
