SalaryThe estimated salary range for this position is $75,300 - $112,900. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives in addition to base pay.
Job DescriptionThis Systems Engineer role involves performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems. The selected candidate will ensure that customer requirements are designed into total systems solutions, taking into account technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
This individual will perform analyses at all levels of the total system product, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. They will also ensure that functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies are performed to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of experience in systems engineering; OR Master of Science degree in STEM with 0 years of experience.
- Experience in development and integration of large-scale systems.
- Experience with proposal technical volume writing.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an interim Top Secret prior to starting, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business.
- Able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance after start of employment.
