System Engineer Opportunity at Northrop Grumman

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This role will involve performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

About the Job

This individual will work on large-scale system development and integration projects, ensuring that customer or product requirements are designed into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The selected candidate will also perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of experience in systems engineering; OR Master of Science degree in STEM with 0 years of experience.
  • Experience in development and integration of large-scale systems.
  • Experience with proposal technical volume writing.
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an interim Top Secret prior to starting, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance after start of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in system concept of operations, requirements, and architecture definition for major development programs.
  • Broad-based systems engineering experience in development, test, and post-transition activities of large systems on multiple security domains.
  • Experience in engineering change board oversight and ensure adherence to technical.
  • Experience in performing aircraft functional test.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $75,300 - $112,900. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
