KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee financial reporting for various entities including corporations and personal accounts.
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accurate recording and distribution.
  • Handle the maintenance and reconciliation of real estate transactions and commissions.
  • Facilitate monthly tenant billing and assist with annual reconciliations.
  • Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and projections to support strategic planning.
  • Act as a liaison with financial institutions and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform payroll audits, including compliance with workers' compensation and disability regulations.
  • Assist in tax reporting and the distribution of annual tax documents.
  • File annual compliance documents with relevant agencies.
  • Process quarterly distributions to investors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate accounting; familiarity with retail/shopping center accounting is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of bookkeeping principles and accounts payable/receivable processes.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Willingness to work on-site; this position does not offer remote work options.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The compensation range for this role is determined based on various factors including education, experience, and performance. Kforce Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with retirement plans and paid time off for eligible employees.

This position is not eligible for bonuses or commissions.
