Job Title: Leader in Training

The Leader in Training (LIT) is a pivotal role within the Green Thumb dispensary leadership team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of the team, you will actively supervise daily operations, communicate priorities to team members, and optimize the customer journey.

Responsibilities:
  • Support management in ensuring compliance with security, inventory, and local/state regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring a diverse product assortment and communicating inventory action items with management.
  • Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries, transfers, and inventory management, ensuring accuracy within the vault.
  • Lead team members to effectively execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized in-store promotions.
  • Demonstrate proper cash handling, including accurately processing payments, discount application, and cash maintenance, and oversee team member execution.
Key Qualifications:
  • At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Inventory control experience preferred.
  • Meet the scheduling and availability requirements to meet business needs.
  • Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must pass any and all required background checks.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules, and regulations, and a passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to perform tasks for prolonged periods, including moving about the dispensary, remaining in a stationary position, conversing with individuals and groups, operating point of sale systems, and preparing patient and customer orders.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
  • Exposure to cannabis and/or allergens that might be present in an environment where cannabis is present and prevalent.
