Job Title: Chief Information Officer

Job Summary:

The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the development and implementation of its technology infrastructure and digital strategy. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the effective delivery of information technology (IT) services that support and enable the overall strategic goals of the College.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology infrastructure plan to support the College's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure the effective delivery of IT services, including network and security, data management, and systems design and development.
  • Establish and monitor an IT governance framework that supports the College's business strategies and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, including preparing business case justifications and cost-benefit analysis for IT spending and initiatives.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and support.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of IT leadership experience in a complex organization, with at least 5 years in a public sector setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading IT infrastructure revitalization and transformation, including change management skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and develop partnerships.
