About the Role

This position processes customer account transactions quickly and accurately, providing an exceptional banking experience to our customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing cash handling functions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
  • Balancing cash drawers and client service specialist transactions.
  • Learning basic knowledge of new and existing products and services.
  • Discussing and accessing customer financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services.
  • Securing against loss by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawers and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
  • Identifying fraudulent activity.
  • Reading, understanding, and following all relevant SOPs.
  • Performing and supporting daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the branch, including balancing ATMs, processing night drops, and balancing negotiable instruments.
  • Supporting referral goals for the branch by focusing on and identifying opportunities to refer basic bank products to the appropriate business partner.
  • Providing an extraordinary customer experience and demonstrating compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions.
About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced, cash handling environment. Key qualifications include:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Some experience in customer service, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • A strong ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movements, as well as think critically and provide appropriate solutions.
Our Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $18.00-$22.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate will be dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
