Client Service Representative

About the RoleThis position processes customer account transactions quickly and accurately, providing an exceptional banking experience to our customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing cash handling functions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, payments, transfers, and check cashing.
- Balancing cash drawers and client service specialist transactions.
- Learning basic knowledge of new and existing products and services.
- Discussing and accessing customer financial needs to identify and offer appropriate products and services.
- Securing against loss by ensuring safekeeping of money in cash drawers and prompt accounting or transfer of funds.
- Identifying fraudulent activity.
- Reading, understanding, and following all relevant SOPs.
- Performing and supporting daily tasks that maintain the integrity of the branch, including balancing ATMs, processing night drops, and balancing negotiable instruments.
- Supporting referral goals for the branch by focusing on and identifying opportunities to refer basic bank products to the appropriate business partner.
- Providing an extraordinary customer experience and demonstrating compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced, cash handling environment. Key qualifications include:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience in customer service, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- A strong ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Able to perform repetitive finger, hand, and arm movements, as well as think critically and provide appropriate solutions.
We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $18.00-$22.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate will be dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
