  • Management Duties:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of facilities staff
    • Develop and implement effective policies and procedures to ensure seamless operations
    • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Office Services:
    • Coordinate daily activities and events, including project and move management
    • Develop and maintain office standards and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Manage vendor contracts, new hire orientation, and communication of events or service announcements
    • Maintain intranet pages and ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Vendor Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors
    • Monitor vendor performance and quality levels, identifying areas for improvement
    • Research and recommend new vendors to meet business needs
  • Safety and Security:
    • Ensure the safety and security of our facilities, including emergency response planning
    • Comply with all local regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards
    • Train office staff on emergency procedures and protocols
  • Purchasing and Reporting:
    • Manage and track all financial reports, attendance, payroll, and inventory
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and trends
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years management experience in facilities services or a related field
    • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency
  • Skills:
    • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
    • Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
