Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, install, and repair facilities and related equipment to ensure a safe and effective work environment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Respond to emergency situations and contain damage to minimize disruption to operations.
  • Manage facility equipment through the building management system to optimize energy efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Schedule and prioritize workload, maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest equipment and systems, including ammonia refrigeration, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Utilize technical materials, such as equipment manuals and safety materials, to troubleshoot and maintain systems.
  • Cross-train with other maintenance technicians to expand skills and knowledge.
  • Perform duties associated with area relocations and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain documentation according to Nestle standards.

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

Associate degree preferred; minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience, with experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems maintenance preferred.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Card Access, CCTV, and Building Management Systems preferred.
  • Effective communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
