Job Title: Residential Recovery Specialist

Join Sound Community Services, Inc. as a Residential Recovery Specialist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young adults struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled individual to provide direct oversight and support services to our clients in a residential setting. As a Residential Recovery Specialist, you will work closely with our team to connect with young people, build rapport, and support them in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily oversight and support to residents in the program
  • Monitor and administer medications as scheduled
  • Complete daily documentation and feedback for treatment team meetings
  • Facilitate monthly activities and groups based on life skills assessments
  • Assist residents in developing daily living skills and connecting with community resources
  • Report all changes in behavior or mental state to the treatment team
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; degree or higher education preferred
  • Minimum of one year of behavioral health/human services experience required
  • Previous experience working with young adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • Competent user of technology, including email, agency intranet, and electronic client record
  • Current, valid driver's license required
