Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Specialist to join our team at CCARC INC. As a key member of our residential program, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with special needs, enabling them to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Personal Care and Support: Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, hygiene, and treatments, while promoting independence and dignity.
  • Coordinate Daily Activities: Plan and lead social and recreational activities, as well as shopping for food and clothing, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
  • Communicate Effectively: Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, family members, guardians, and external healthcare providers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Manage Household Operations: Oversee household management, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Monitor and Report: Regularly monitor residents' physical and behavioral changes, documenting and reporting any concerns to ensure timely interventions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED, valid driver's license, and ability to complete Agency's Employee Training.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
