Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Technician to join our team at Root Center for Advanced Recovery. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide daily living assistance and medical care to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including vital sign monitoring and documentation.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and hygiene.
  • Monitor and supervise residents to ensure safety and adherence to program rules.
  • Facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to promote engagement and socialization.
  • Address crisis situations and provide emotional support to residents in need.
  • Maintain a clean and organized residential facility.
  • Document resident activities, behaviors, and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to residents.
Requirements
  • High-school diploma or equivalent with CNA, EMT, or MA certification required.
  • Associate degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience working with drug-dependent individuals and a demonstrated ability to work with sensitivity and compassion.
  • Adult CPR/AED or BLS certification must be obtained and maintained within the initial 6 months of employment.
  • Valid driver's license and safe/clear driving record required.
