Licensed Practical Nurse Per Diem Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing oversight to clients at our Withdrawal Management Program.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial nursing assessments of clients and document ongoing assessments of clients that are response to treatment.
- Develop, implement, record, and evaluate nursing care plans according to age and specific needs of clients.
- Participate in or supervise the nursing care of clients, providing direct physical care measures as needed.
- Act as a primary nurse working with individual clients and coordinating their treatment.
- Execute the medical regimen of care as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate the client and family toward an understanding of health and illness and the plans for post-discharge care.
- Respond to medical and psychiatric emergency needs of clients
- Current State of Connecticut - Department of Public Health Licensed Practical Nurse
- CPR certification
- Computer Literate
- Experience in behavioral health / substance abuse field preferred
- Shift Differential
- Bilingualism a Plus
