Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our dialysis team at Health Systems Management, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare management organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting efficient business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for hemodialysis patients, taking into account their unique needs and health goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of patient labs, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for vitamin, binder, and nutritional supplement regimens.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary personnel to address the nutritional and emotional needs of patients, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
  • Monitor patient weights and adjust diet and fluid needs accordingly, promoting optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, contributing to the development of patient-centered education projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current Dietetics licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in clinical dietetics, with a focus on ESRD patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
