Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team at Quik Travel Staffing. As a Travel Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will be responsible for managing the nutritional care of dialysis patients, including assessing patient knowledge and developing personalized diet plans.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the nutritional care of dialysis patients, including assessment of patient knowledge and development of personalized diet plans.
- Conduct nutritional assessments and calculate diet based on client needs and standard of practice.
- Assess dialysis patient nutritional status and review nutrition-related lab results with patients.
- Coordinate with doctors regarding anemia and bone disease management.
- Identify malnourished patients and those at risk for malnutrition.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of recent experience as a registered dietitian.
- Graduate from an accredited school.
- Registered Dietitian as per Commission on Dietetic Registration with a current state RD License in good standing.
- Experience with renal patients preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- May require ACLS certification.
