With a stellar reputation in the renal community, HSM is committed to providing exceptional patient care while fostering physician collaboration and maintaining efficient operational practices. We are currently in search of compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Registered Dietitians to enhance our dialysis team.
Key Responsibilities and Physical Requirements:
- Deliver nutrition education to patients undergoing hemodialysis.
- Conduct monthly assessments and review laboratory results with patients.
- Collaborate with physicians during weekly rounds or as necessary.
- Advise on vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to address the nutritional and emotional needs of patients.
- Monitor patient weights and adjust dietary and fluid requirements accordingly.
- Engage in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, collaborating with fellow Registered Dietitians.
- Participate in patient-centered education projects as needed.
Educational Background and Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is preferred.
- Current licensure in Dietetics as per state regulations.
- A minimum of 1-year experience in clinical dietetics is required (excluding internship); experience with ESRD patients is preferred.
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
- Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule and provide coverage when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial.
- Candidates must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available at this time.
