Quality Assurance General Manager

The Quality Assurance General Manager is responsible for ensuring that the products Macrina produces meet the highest standards of quality and artisanal excellence. This position reports to the Production Manager and plays a critical role in maintaining the company's reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure products meet Macrina's quality specifications prior to delivery.
  • Maintain and improve product quality through regular audits, customer complaint investigations, and collaboration with other departments.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new products, production procedures, and training methods.
  • Coordinate product testing processes and participate in product testing.
  • Maintain compliance with Macrina's food and workplace safety policies.
  • Work with production, packing, and delivery managers to update and implement new procedures and training methods.
  • Work on the production floor with employees and managers to troubleshoot quality issues.
  • Record production details and processes to create and maintain standardized production procedures.
  • Effectively communicate product quality issues with different departments.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in bread or pastry production.
  • Experience with mixing, forming, and baking, as well as use of equipment such as mixers, dividers, molders, rounders, and 12-chamber ovens.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
Benefits:
  • Starting wage: $80,000 - $90,000 per year.
  • Eligible for non-discretionary bonus.
