Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Olson Kundig is seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Manager to join our Seattle office. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the excellence and integrity of our work.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes across various projects. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive QA/QC protocols, providing training and support to project teams, and conducting regular quality control reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QA/QC protocols and procedures
  • Provide training and support to project teams on QA/QC best practices
  • Conduct regular quality control reviews and audits
  • Identify and mitigate design serviceability risks
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure quality objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain QA/QC documentation and reporting systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in the A/E/C sector
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in design documentation and construction administration
  • Preconstruction and construction experience in multiple building types
  • Working knowledge of building science practices
  • Proficient in Project Management Information Systems software and industry-standard digital design tools
  • Strong understanding of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and its application in QA/QC processes
