Sterile Processing Technician, Richland, Night Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Prisma Health in Richland. As a key member of our Central Sterile Processing Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment using various methods and equipment
- Assemble and prepare instrument trays and sets according to established protocols
- Document all activities related to instrument/equipment decontamination, assembly, disinfection, and sterilization
- Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of the Central Sterile Processing Department
- Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician (CSPDT) is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent and 6 months experience in a hospital or clinical setting may be considered in lieu of education requirement
- Ability to work night shift and maintain a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills
