About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall efficiency of our nursing unit/department.

Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily living activities, collecting patient specimens and data, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will work closely with our team of skilled professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and collection of patient specimens and data.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including admission, transfer, and discharge information, progress notes, and consent forms.
  3. Perform procedures and use equipment as delegated by a licensed professional, consistent with demonstrated competencies and according to state scope of practice.
  4. Participate in OR room turnover and assist with transporting patients, including pre-operative and immediate post-operative patients to critical care units.
