Job Overview

RemX, a leading workforce specialist, is seeking a skilled Steel Trader- Inside Sales representative to join our team. As a key member of our industrial equipment logistics company, you will play a crucial role in supporting sales functions, business implementation, and customer onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for sales support functions, ensuring seamless business implementation and timely delivery of SOP onboarding.
  • Account Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new accounts, including setup for online tracking and automation, to meet customer needs and objectives.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and communicate potential new business opportunities to sales teams, as well as areas for improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work with the IT team to resolve technical issues related to report setup, online tracking, and AMS/ISF needs.
  • Client Support: Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed, communicated by sales teams.
  • Import Coordination: Initiate and coordinate the import of ocean and air shipments until they are processed by the Import Department.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare formal quotes for customers.
  • Language Skills: Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
Qualification Requirements
  • Logistics Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of NVOCC or supply chain operations and business logics.
  • Logistics Experience: Have at least 2 years of logistics work experience.
  • Language Skills: Demonstrate a strong ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects simultaneously, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent listening, negotiation, and writing abilities.
  • Supply Chain Experience: Have experience in air, ocean, domestic, or supply chain platforms.
