Responsibilities


As part of the internal Finance team, the Finance Associate – Financial Operations is tasked with the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various financial systems and programs, including but not limited to our Chrome River Expense Management System and our Corporate Credit Card Program.

The role encompasses:

  • Administration of system configuration, workflow, policies, and alerts.
  • Issuance and termination of credit cards.
  • Analysis of extensive data for management reporting.
  • Troubleshooting user inquiries and providing training.

This position ensures that processes are executed accurately and in a timely manner. The Finance Associate is expected to advocate for continuous improvement and embrace change management with specific processes and tools, all in support of a growing and dynamic organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot financial systems and programs, acting as the main point of contact for vendor system/program administration.
  • Understand system configuration, workflow, and alerts, while adhering to system guidelines and policies.
  • Support the issuance and termination of credit cards and understand system flow and impacts on other Baker Tilly software/programs.
  • Analyze system usage and identify outliers.
  • Provide internal client support for finance systems and programs, addressing user questions and concerns promptly.
  • Deliver system training and guidance while ensuring compliance with Baker Tilly policies.
  • Analyze data and generate management reports, alerting management and users of discrepancies.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, acting as the main liaison between Baker Tilly and the vendor.
  • Work closely with the vendor to troubleshoot system errors and maintain an enhancement list.
  • Embrace continuous improvements and adapt to rapid changes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of one to three years of accounting and/or financial experience, with system/technology exposure preferred.
  • High level of Excel technical knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service and maintain confidentiality.

Additional Information

The compensation range for this role is $50,780 to $110,030. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
