Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Patient Access Representative in the Patient Access Department at Morristown Medical Center to work Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, Friday from 7am to 3pm with a required Saturday rotation.
Key Responsibilities- Play a vital role in the patient and family experience, serving as an initial point of contact within our health system.
- Secure accurate information, interpret and communicate patient responsibility, and ensure accurate patient identification for the financial and operational success of the organization.
- Greet customers with a smile and address customers by name in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.
- Attempt to resolve customer questions and concerns.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment, meet shift expectations, and handle challenging customers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Any legally or reasonably expected certifications needed for the function and level.
- Customer service experience.
- Applicable experience within Revenue Cycle.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably EPIC.
