Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our Patient Access Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth registration process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, addressing their questions and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process patient registrations, including obtaining signatures and completing necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs).
