Job Summary

The Area Manager will oversee multi-unit operations, focusing on team member development, coaching, and training in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes continuous improvement of operations, client relations, and strategic functions to maximize effectiveness and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business metrics and performance measurements to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Manage scheduling, overtime, and timekeeping for associates under direct supervision.
  • Ensure forecasts, payroll, and accounting reports are accurate and on time.
  • Effectively utilize standardized business systems and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Engage in recruitment and hiring processes to select top talent.
  • Provide proper orientation and on-the-job training for new associates.
  • Recognize and reward great performance, and provide opportunities for growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to forecast and plan for seasonal variances in business.
  • Understand client service standards and integrate Evolution Parking and Guest Services' standards to complement them.
  • Develop cohesive working relationships with client staff members.
  • Treat clients and associates with courtesy, respect, and dignity.
  • Maintain confidentiality related to associate and client information.
  • Practice preventative safety procedures and ensure all associates are adequately trained.
  • Follow the progressive disciplinary process to hold associates accountable for at-fault claims and safety violations.
  • Adhere to Evolution Parking and Guest Services' employment and payroll policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain stability, dependability, and professionalism in changing situations.
  • Identify high-performing team members for Crescendo Academy and Crescendo Leadership developmental Programs.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree, High School Diploma, or GED required, or relevant working experience.
  • Understanding of general business practices, including accounting, human resources, and customer service.
  • Experience in valet parking, valid US Drivers License, and 2+ years in a management position.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, such as ADP, and customer service.
