Job Overview

We are looking for friendly and professional Event Support Staff to deliver outstanding customer service during evening events. At MNCP Staffing, we pride ourselves on matching candidates with the right organizational culture and skill requirements.

Position Summary

The ideal candidates will engage with attendees, address their inquiries, and ensure a memorable experience throughout the event.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Engagement: Warmly greet guests upon arrival, assisting them with questions regarding the event schedule, venue, and available services.
  • Information Provision: Offer precise details about the event, including schedules, amenity locations, and any special instructions.
  • Issue Management: Tackle and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Operational Support: Assist with various event-related tasks such as managing queues, directing guests, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the venue. Support exhibitors by managing booths as necessary.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Be ready to handle any emergency situations or disruptions calmly and effectively, adhering to established protocols.
  • Feedback Gathering: Collect guest feedback regarding their experience and relay significant issues or suggestions to the event coordinator or management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in tandem with fellow event staff to ensure seamless operations and effective communication during the event.
Qualifications
  • Customer Service Background: Previous experience in customer service, particularly in events or hospitality, is advantageous.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to address unexpected situations with professionalism.
  • Detail Orientation: Capability to focus on details and follow instructions accurately.
Additional Information
  • Work Schedule: Hours will vary based on the event, typically from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, allowing time for setup post-event. Events generally occur from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • Uniform Requirements: Attire includes a black shirt (no logos), black pants (no leggings), and comfortable black shoes (preferably tennis shoes).
