Compensation: $19.00 per hour

SP+ is actively seeking to fill several immediate openings for Event Supervisors in the Las Vegas area. This role involves overseeing the setup crew and managing event staff during various occasions. Responsibilities encompass operations for notable venues.

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work at additional events within the Las Vegas Market, including concerts, special gatherings, conventions, and sporting events.


Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Event Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure accurate shift transactions by verifying cash against bank drops.
  • Address customer service inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain order and safety in the assigned area.
  • Foster relationships with local law enforcement and security personnel.
  • Supervise staff and act as a communication link between employees and management.
  • Monitor vehicle counts throughout the shift as required.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards during shifts.
  • Report any observed violations of company policy or safety concerns to management.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues with revenue control systems.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the facility and complete necessary documentation.
  • Assist in cleaning up spills and debris as needed.
  • Be prepared to fill in for other positions when necessary.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the facility layout and surrounding area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in cashiering or parking operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions and correspondence in English.
  • Capable of applying common sense to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to respond effectively to customer issues and complaints.
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment and ability to handle unexpected situations.
  • License Requirement: A valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and handle cash and equipment. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
