YELLOW - Union Market is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, managing inventory, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and preparation
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient food preparation
- Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new dishes and menus
Requirements
- At least 3 years of cooking experience, including 1 year in a sous chef position
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
