Pathology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pathology Technician to join our team at CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories LLC. As a Pathology Technician, you will play a critical role in providing technical and administrative support to our pathologists and hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately accession and process specimens
- Schedule and assist with patient procedures, including FNA procedures, bone marrow biopsies, and CT/US procedures
- Assist pathologists with intraoperative evaluations, such as frozen sections
- Prepare specimens and workstations for pathologists
- Send out material to other institutions
- Provide support in the resolution center
- Assist with quality assurance and compliance requirements
- Support pathologists with slide distribution, manifest, conference prep, pending lists, and triaging phone calls
- Assist with autopsy prep as needed
- Deliver specimens to relevant sites and departments
- Perform maintenance and daily operational tasks
- Provide cross-coverage to other hospital sites as needed
- High school graduate with 1+ year of relevant clinical/laboratory experience
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science preferred
- Previous experience working in a clinical/medical/laboratory environment
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Previous data entry experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
