Field Engineer - Heavy Civil and Marine Projects

A reputable organization focused on substantial construction and marine projects is seeking a Field Engineer with expertise in heavy civil engineering and tugboat operations. This company is known for delivering cost-effective and efficient solutions grounded in engineering proficiency.

POSITION SUMMARY - We are looking for Field Engineers who possess a background in HEAVY civil or marine engineering, or significant experience in heavy construction (such as bridges). The role is based out of our Connecticut office.

Note: This position does not offer remote work options. Candidates seeking remote or hybrid arrangements may not be suitable.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in DOT/Heavy Civil Highway or Marine Construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification with aspirations to transition into project management after gaining relevant experience.

Compensation ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and level of expertise in heavy/marine projects.

The ideal candidate is someone eager to advance their career in engineering.

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with an engineering firm on projects specifically related to marine and heavy civil works (including bridge and tunnel projects).
