Structural Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Ten Solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with temporary structures and construction engineering, and will be responsible for performing innovative design engineering, reviewing structural calculations, and developing plans to support all aspects of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluation of existing structures for construction loads and/or demolition planning
• Structural analysis to ensure stability during the temporary condition of new bridges, viaducts, buildings, tunnels, and other structures
• Perform and/or review calculations and design drawings, according to industry codes, standards, and client design criteria
• Ensure quality and accuracy of design deliverables
• Help to identify design risks and assist with risk mitigation planning
• Assist in Project Management and Estimators (budgets, schedules, quality control, and coordination/communication with clients)

Requirements:

• Experience with temporary structures and/or construction engineering
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Masters degree or greater in Structural Engineering is preferred
• Years of relevant engineering experience
• Professional Engineer licensure (PE) or eligibility within the United States
• Experience with engineering design software will be an advantage; this includes AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Civil 3D, Finite Element Analysis Software
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments
