Job Summary:

As an Engineering Technician I at In-Sync Staffing, you will be an integral part of our R&D organization, supporting new product development and post-launch product evolution. This entry-level position involves performing research, building prototypes, validating test methods, inspecting products, conducting tests, analyzing data, ensuring sites are safe and clean, and reporting to the Lab supervisor/Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform research and build prototypes to support new product development and post-launch product evolution.
  • Validate test methods and inspect products to ensure quality and safety.
  • Conduct tests and analyze data to inform product development and improvement.
  • Ensure sites are safe and clean, and report any issues to the Lab supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical and related medical devices and practices.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Minitab or basic statistics terms.
  • Basic understanding of QSSOPs, GMP/FDA/ISO 9001 principles.
  • Some knowledge of lean and Six Sigma Methods.
  • High School Diploma required, along with either 1 year work experience as an engineering technician or an associate's degree in a related Technical or engineering field.

Work Environment:
  • This is a largely sedentary role.
  • Work is performed in a professional lab and office environment.
  • May require occasional movement and lifting of objects up to 25 pounds.
