Cybersecurity Engineer

At Webster Bank, we're committed to protecting our organization's data and systems from cyber threats. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls to safeguard our sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement security controls to protect sensitive data and systems
  • Monitor and analyze security systems for potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures
  • Support the engineering aspects of the Privileged Access Management program
  • Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security solutions
  • Develop and implement Data Loss Prevention strategies and technologies
  • Perform regular risk assessments and recommend security controls to reduce risk exposure
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on EDR, CASB, DLP, and Endpoint Security technologies
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards
  • Experience with endpoint security solutions and DLP concepts
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable
