Position Overview

The Boys & Girls Club of Fort Wayne is seeking a dedicated and safety-oriented Bus Operator to enhance our transportation services. The Bus Operator will be responsible for ensuring the secure and timely transportation of Club members and staff along predetermined routes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify that all passengers are properly seated and secured prior to departure.
  • Maintain constant supervision of members throughout the journey.
  • Assist young passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the bus before and after each trip.
  • Promptly report any incidents or accidents that occur during transit.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a Commercial Driver's License.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Current certification in First Aid and CPR is necessary.
  • Must have a clean driving record with no accidents or violations in the past five years.
