Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Corps Officers, including preparing meeting materials, updating records, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Assist with program planning and coordination, including event planning, budgeting, and logistics.
  • Lead and coordinate community outreach initiatives, including volunteer recruitment, event planning, and partnership development.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers.
  • Assist with fundraising efforts, including event planning, donor relations, and grant writing.
  • Provide support for special projects and seasonal activities, including summer camps, toy drives, and food distributions.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, mailings, and reports.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit or community organization.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a Salvation Army vehicle.

Working Conditions:
