Job Summary:

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Ministry Assistant to provide administrative support to our Corps Officers. This role will assist with various programs, events, and activities, ensuring the smooth operation of our ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Corps Officers, including preparing materials, coordinating events, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with program planning, execution, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with The Salvation Army's mission and goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to promote our ministry and services.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with TSA policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Corps Officers, including special projects and seasonal activities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a Salvation Army vehicle.

Working Conditions:
