About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Lead to join our team at SubCom. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing program finance and accounting processes from bid through execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Finance Management: Manage costs, track and identify costs to prepare customer invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Contract Management: Ensure compliance with statutory and contractual commitments, including FAR/DFARS/CAS compliance and overhead/forward pricing rate development.
  • Financial System Management: Manage and maintain the Deltek CostPoint accounting system, including database management and financial system management.
  • Proposal Support: Assist with proposal and RFQ responses, including managing proposal modifications due to scope changes and schedule changes.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of junior staff to ensure effective performance of job duties and goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 3+ years' experience in government contract management, with extensive direct experience at a U.S. Government contractor.
  • Skills: Proficient in Deltek CostPoint, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications: Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
