Wine Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and articulate individual to join our sales team as a Wine Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating sales from wine enthusiasts who have an established relationship with our client wineries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales from wine enthusiasts through personalized conversations and wine recommendations
  • Ensure customers' favorite wines remain in stock and introduce them to new wines and special releases
  • Keep customers informed about winery activities and events

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of call center or work-from-home phone sales experience
  • Some familiarity with wine is a plus, but not required (we will provide training)
  • Ability to overcome objections and close sales over the phone
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Reliable high-speed home internet and a designated, uninterrupted workspace for remote work
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and competencies, including CRM software, inventory management systems, email, and instant messaging communication

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly + commission (successful sales reps earn $18-$30 or more per hour including commission)
