- Implement a structured business development strategy targeting specific industry segments and geographic areas.
- Proactively generate leads through various methods including cold outreach, networking, and site assessments.
- Communicate project objectives and challenges effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to develop comprehensive project proposals.
- Present tailored proposals to clients and assist them in selecting optimal solutions.
- Prepare detailed project bid documents, including internal reviews, budget estimates, and pricing for clients.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and obtain necessary permits.
- Provide on-site support for client interactions as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, networking, and establishing relationships with business owners across diverse sectors.
- A minimum of 3 years in sales and marketing roles, preferably in medium-scale commercial solar initiatives.
- Strong ability to create and deliver effective customer proposals.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial solar PV system design and proposal formulation.
- Familiarity with solar incentives, regulations, financing options, and energy cost structures.
- Proficient in solar proposal software (e.g., Helioscope, Energy Tool Base) and Microsoft Excel.
