Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee solar installation projects to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Manage a team of installers, electricians, and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive installation best practices and safety initiatives.
  • Review labor, materials, and costs involved in each project.
  • Assist in scheduling installation crews.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of solar and battery industry experience.
  • Thorough understanding of solar and roofing industry principles, procedures, and best practices.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make accurate and timely decisions.
  • Experience managing solar installation crews and superintendents.
  • Exceptional managerial and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to read and understand project budgets vs actuals, invoices, and regional profit and loss reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General technical aptitude with computer and mobile-based software.
  • Valid CA Drivers License and clean driving record.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements required, OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Electrician or equivalent experience preferred.
  • NABCEP PV Installer certification preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $70,000 - $100,000 per year depending on experience.
