Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Elevance Health. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and retention of existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategic business plans to address client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and retention targets
  • Cultivate deep trust-based relationships with clients and key decision makers
  • Act as a consultative partner with brokers, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to address client needs
  • Provide expert sales knowledge and support to Large Groups
  • Assist with on-boarding of new sales associates
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of sales experience
  • Sales license required
  • Experience with office tools, cloud-based software, and social media preferred
  • Large Group insurance experience and client-facing experience preferred

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, requiring associates to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location.
