Job Description

AbbVie is seeking an experienced Associate Director to support market access marketing strategy for ELAHERE, a first-in-class, HCP-administered therapy for patients with folate receptor-alpha (FRɑ) positive ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer. The successful candidate will effectively orchestrate execution and alignment across the Payer, Trade, GPO, HEOR, Government Affairs, and market research/analytics channels and serve as a US Market Access subject matter expert for the Oncology Brand Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, align, and execute ELAHERE market access strategy and tactics with key cross-functional partners.
  • Develop field resources that convey ELAHERE's clinical and economic value.
  • Lead the coordination of relevant stakeholder involvement for successful payer coverage and reimbursement of ELAHERE across channels.
  • Coordinate and manage agency relationship and activities in conjunction with external collaboration partners.
  • Partner with marketing analytics and insights to drive primary market research activities.
  • Partner with the Trade and Distribution Team to ensure seamless patient access to therapy.
  • Liaise with Patient Services, Consumer Marketing, and Trade to ensure patient support is coordinated and aligned.
  • Create, align, and track KPIs to measure access goals.
  • Serve as a US Market Access and reimbursement subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its application to marketing strategy and tactical execution.
  • 5-7 years of marketing or market access experience required.
  • Previous experience supporting HCP-administered assets.
  • Knowledge of the Commercial and Medicare FFS aspects of the Medical Benefit and associated utilization management and reimbursement dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous Oncology experience in buy and bill strongly preferred.
  • 3 years of US Market Access experience preferred.
  • Pre-launch activities and Market Access launch experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial planning and analysis.
