Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a C.N.A. Trainee. This is a transitional, entry-level position designed to train on the necessary skills required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.). As a C.N.A. Trainee, you will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to provide direct patient care and support the daily activities of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, toileting, feeding, and transferring residents
  • Assist with and/or perform procedures as outlined and according to policy, such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and changing non-sterile dressings
  • Engage residents in conversations and encourage them to recall memories
  • Assist family and visitors, directing questions regarding the patient's clinical condition to the supervising nurse
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Compassionate, warm, and patient-focused individual
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
