Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team at BCforward. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service to our clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist visitors, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Manage a multi-line phone system, answering calls and directing them as necessary.
  • Retrieve and relay messages from voicemail to the relevant staff members.
  • Provide information about the organization, including directions and general inquiries.
  • Monitor visitor access and issue passes as needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and routing publications.
  • Maintain office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents.
  • Support the team with various administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in office software and equipment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
