Job Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Moving Coordinator to oversee and manage relocation activities for our office assets across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and coordinate moving activities for company assets.
  • Maintain a log of new move requests in the tracking system.
  • Assist in the minor relocation of boxes, furniture, and filing cabinets as necessary.
  • Collaborate with requestors to schedule move timings effectively.
  • Conduct assessments of furniture and equipment to determine appropriate relocation or disposal.
  • Ensure the organization of the warehouse and manage incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Create and manage work orders to streamline moving tasks.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for the installation and disassembly of furniture.
  • Coordinate with vendors and team members for the delivery of items related to moves.
  • Operate a vehicle to fulfill scheduled and on-demand moving requirements.
  • Load and unload trucks with furniture, equipment, and supplies as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Support team members in various moving tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and the ability to interpret dimensions.
  • Capability to read and understand architectural plans.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and reach with hands and arms.
