Position: Patient Experience Representative
Please note that this role is located in Waltham, MA (free parking)
Hours: 8:30am-5:00 pm
Department: Orthopedics - Sports Medicine
Sign-on Bonus: $2,000 (terms/taxes apply)
Key Responsibilities- Provide positive and effective customer service to patients and families
- Respond to routine inquiries about hospital protocol, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with referring providers and practices to facilitate management of complex patient issues
- Collect and record patient demographics, insurance/payment, and referral information
- Transcribe code and patient treatment information into a billing system
- Coordinate patient encounters and procedures to optimize resource utilization and patient experience
- Prepare rooms for examinations and provide assistance to patients according to established procedures and instructions
- Monitor clinic activity to ensure the best possible patient experience
- Answer, screen, and route telephone calls
- Maintain personal calendars for physician/supervisor(s)
