Key Responsibilities- Client Care: Provide individualized support and care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and behavioral interventions.
- Program Implementation: Implement and maintain Treatment Plans and Individual Plans of Care, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support and services to achieve their goals.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, families, and colleagues, ensuring that all parties are informed and involved in the client's care.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately and thoroughly document client progress, incidents, and other relevant information, ensuring that records are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Teamwork and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Education and Experience: Associate's degree preferred, with at least one year of experience in the human services field.
- Training and Certification: Physical Management Training (PMT), First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration Certification required.
- Skills and Qualities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to clients.
The Residential Instructor will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing support and care to clients in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion in all interactions.
